Product Description

Used XCMG GR260 Motor Grader Product Introduction

This pre-owned XCMG GR260 motor grader is a heavy-duty machine engineered for highway construction, large-area precision grading, and mining haul road maintenance. Equipped with a 260HP Weichai WP10G260E301 Diesel diesel engine, this grader delivers precise blade control for finish grading, road maintenance, ditching, slope cutting, and surface preparation. The moldboard features hydraulic angle adjustment, side shift, and tilt functions, allowing the operator to achieve precise grading geometry for road base preparation, gravel road maintenance, and large-area surface leveling. The articulated frame steering combined with front wheel lean provides a tight turning radius and offset tracking capability for ditch cleaning and slope work. The unit has received regular preventive maintenance with detailed service logs documenting oil analysis results, cutting edge replacements, and circle wear measurements.

Grader Condition Assessment

This XCMG GR260 motor grader has been inspected with focus on the unique wear components of grading equipment. The circle (slew ring) was checked for excessive play using a dial indicator — total backlash measured within the manufacturer's service limit. Moldboard cutting edge and end bits were measured for remaining wear life; cutting edge thickness is above the minimum replacement specification. The blade linkage pins and bushings (blade lift, circle shift, blade tilt cylinders) were inspected for clearance with all within acceptable range. The tandem drive chain tension was checked and adjusted to specification. Engine compression and turbocharger performance verified. Transmission clutch pressures measured within range through all gear selections. The articulated frame center-pivot bearing was lubricated and checked with no measurable vertical play. All tires exhibit even wear with tread depth above 50% of new specification. The scarifier hydraulics were tested through full raise/lower cycle with system pressure maintained.

Grader Transport & International Shipping

Motor graders are typically shipped via Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) carrier service from major Chinese ports due to their self-propelled nature and extended frame length. For destinations without Ro-Ro service, the grader can be partially disassembled (moldboard removed and packed separately, cab roof externals detached) for flat-rack container transport. Prior to shipment, the machine undergoes a comprehensive cleaning process including chassis pressure wash, engine compartment degreasing, and moldboard surface treatment to prevent sea-spray corrosion. The articulation joint is locked in the straight position with a transport pin. The battery is disconnected and the fuel tank drained to minimum safe level per IMO regulations. Complete export documents will be prepared: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and ocean bill of lading. Approximate transit times: Southeast Asia 5-10 days, Middle East 14-20 days, Africa 20-35 days, South America 25-35 days.

Post-Delivery Service & Maintenance Support

A comprehensive pre-delivery inspection document is supplied with the grader, recording all measurement values and observations. We provide 7 days of remote technical assistance after the machine reaches your destination port, addressing any questions regarding start-up procedures, moldboard control calibration, circle rotation mechanism operation, and daily maintenance routines including grease fitting locations and fluid level checkpoints. A recommended wear-parts reference list is included covering: moldboard cutting edges and end bits, scarifier teeth and shanks, hydraulic filter replacement kits, circle wear inserts, and tandem drive chain tensioners. Through our international parts network, we can facilitate express courier delivery of commonly needed spares. The buyer is advised to schedule a local grader technician for arrival commissioning and to verify all blade control calibrations before operational deployment. This machine is supplied in its inspected used condition.
